24/7 Mobile Tyre Fitting

JL Mobile Tyres

A two-van, 24/7 mobile tyre fitter based in Bromley. Liam built the first website himself on Wix, and as the business set out to grow into new areas he knew it needed a site to match. We rebuilt it as a 40-page site with a page for each service and each town they want work in, designed so a driver with a flat tyre can call or WhatsApp in one tap.

The Brief

What JL Mobile Tyres wanted from the site

  • Enough calls to keep two vans busy around the clock and take on another hire

  • Replace the Wix site Liam built himself with one that matches where the business is heading

  • Service and town pages across a wider area: south east London, Surrey and Kent

The Design

Built for a driver standing next to a flat tyre

Most visitors arrive stressed and on a phone, at the roadside or on their drive. Liam pointed us to rival sites whose call buttons work and asked us to stay away from AI stock photos. So the design opens with a large call button and a WhatsApp button, shows that they are open now, and uses real photos of their vans and jobs. The price is agreed on the phone before the van sets off, and the site says so.

  1. 01

    Call or WhatsApp first

The phone number and a WhatsApp button sit at the top of every page, with a call bar that stays on screen on mobile. WhatsApp opens ready for a photo of the tyre.

  2. 02

    Their vans, their jobs

Real photos of their two vans and recent jobs replace stock images, with every number plate blurred, and their Google reviews sit beside the call buttons.

  3. 03

    A page for every town

Region pages for London, Surrey and Kent link to 16 town pages, each saying which postcodes they cover and what a driver there can expect.

The Challenge

Why a growing business outgrew its first site

JL Mobile Tyres had strong Google reviews and two vans on the road 24 hours a day, but the website was not keeping up. Liam built it himself on Wix to get the business online, and as they looked to grow and expand he knew it needed to step up with them. The Wix site carried the same town pages twice, some town links landed on a different town's page, a placeholder email address was still live, and the homepage took almost ten seconds to load on a phone. For someone with a flat tyre, that is long enough to ring the next fitter. They wanted more work across Bromley and Croydon and further into Surrey and Kent, with enough calls to take on another hire.

Our Approach

How We Built It

We rebuilt the site from the ground up as 40 pages: seven service pages, from emergency tyre fitting to locking wheel nut removal, three guides that answer what drivers ask (cost, a flat on the motorway, run-flat tyres), region pages for London, Surrey and Kent, and 16 town pages. Town pages carry local detail, and the region pages show recent jobs from those areas. Every address on the old Wix site was checked and pointed to the right new page, so nothing the business had built up was lost.

Key Insights

What We Learned

  • 1

On an emergency trade site the call button does the selling, so it sits at the top of every page and stays on screen on a phone

  • 2

A page per town lets each one speak to that area's postcodes and what to expect there, in place of one long list of place names

  • 3

Real van and job photos, with plates blurred, build the trust stock images cannot

  • 4

Pointing every old Wix address to its new page kept what those addresses had already earned
