What Data We Collect

Contact Form Submissions

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), business type, and message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is forwarded to our business email.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 only loads after you provide cookie consent. Analytics data is processed by Google and includes anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referring source. We do not track individual users.

Cookies

We use a single cookie consent preference stored in your browser's local storage. No tracking cookies are set until you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed.

How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to contact form enquiries
  • To understand how our website is used (via anonymised analytics)
  • To improve our website and services

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Processors

  • Vercel: website hosting (data stored in Vercel infrastructure)
  • Google Analytics: anonymised website analytics (only with consent)
  • Resend: email delivery for contact form submissions

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to allow us to follow up on enquiries. Analytics data is retained for 14 months as per Google Analytics default settings.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Site chat assistant

Our site includes an AI chat assistant. Messages you type are sent to our AI providers, OpenRouter and Anthropic, to generate replies. We do not store them unless you choose to leave your contact details in the chat, in which case your conversation and details are emailed to us so we can follow up. Don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.

If we have contacted your business

Who We Contact

We contact limited companies and LLPs only, about our services. We do not send this kind of email to sole traders or partnerships, and we do not contact personal addresses.

What We Hold and Where It Comes From

We hold the business name, phone number and review count from the business's public Google Maps listing; a business email address published on the business's own website; and the company number and the name of a current director or LLP member from the public Companies House register.

Why We Contact You

We use this information to contact the business about services relevant to it. Our basis for doing so is legitimate interests under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), set out in a documented legitimate interest assessment we keep on file.

Who Processes It For Us

  • Smartlead: sends these emails on our behalf and holds the details in its CRM and inbox: lead data, campaign analytics and our email history with you. Smartlead is an Australian company and stores this data on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. The transfer is protected by the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Smartlead's data processing agreement with us.
  • Neon: hosts the database where these records are stored.

How Long We Keep It

We keep this information for as long as the outreach runs, and for up to 12 months after our last email if we do not hear back. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address and business name, so we do not contact you again.

Your Rights

You can object at any time by replying to any email or using its unsubscribe link, and we will stop contacting you permanently. You also have the rights to access, correction and erasure set out above. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.

Calling Your Business

We may call a business number taken from its public listing, but only after checking it against the Corporate Telephone Preference Service, and the Telephone Preference Service for mobile numbers. We do not call a number registered with either service. We do not send cold text messages.
