This policy covers the AI Query Fan-Out Tracker, a Chrome extension built by SEO Pages. It sits alongside our main privacy policy, which covers the website itself.
What the extension stores
The extension captures the hidden sub-queries ChatGPT and Google AI Mode run, the sources they read, and which of those sources get cited. All of this is written to your browser's local storage and stays on your device. Nothing about your searches, sources, or citations is transmitted to SEO Pages or to any other party.
The one thing that leaves your browser
If you choose to unlock the pro features, the email address you submit is sent to seopages.co.uk. We use it to create a lead record and to send you follow-up emails, each with an unsubscribe link. No other data leaves your browser as part of that process.
To rebuild your fan-out history from before you installed the extension, the extension reuses your own existing ChatGPT session token to fetch your recent conversations directly from ChatGPT's own backend. This happens entirely within your browser, using the session you are already signed into, and nothing from this process is transmitted to SEO Pages.
What we never do
- We do not run analytics or tracking inside the extension.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- We do not read the content of your conversations beyond the search metadata the extension panel already shows you: the sub-queries, the sources, and their cited status.
Data control
You can delete any single captured conversation, or clear your entire capture history, from the extension's Settings tab at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes all of its local data from your browser.
